This summer, the iconic British band Gorillaz is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a groundbreaking new exhibition, House of Kong, at London’s Copper Box Arena. Running from August 8 to September 3, 2025, the exhibition promises fans an immersive journey into the creative heart of the world’s most famous virtual band.
House of Kong offers a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the band’s legendary creative studio, Kong, which has served as the birthplace for much of Gorillaz’s genre-defying music and visual art. Visitors can explore the evolution of the band’s animated personas—2D, Murdoc Niccals, Noodle, and Russel Hobbs—through multimedia installations, early sketches, storyboards, and cutting-edge digital displays. The exhibition traces their journey from the debut single “Tomorrow Comes Today” in 2000 to their latest innovations, capturing the band’s unique blend of music, animation, and storytelling.
Described as “an exhibition like no other,” House of Kong invites fans to experience the chaos and creativity that define Gorillaz. Expect a multi-sensory adventure that delves into the band’s history of musical breakthroughs, virtual escapades, and cultural impact. The exhibition is open daily from 10:30am to 10pm, with timed entry and tickets starting at £25.
