In the award winning (Palme D’Or in Cannes 2022) movie Triangle of Sadness, director Ruben Östlund sends a group of obscenely rich parasites forth on a doomed luxury yacht and what happens next is for you to check out. The opinions are divided but I had some over the top true laugh out loud moments.
But it is this casting scene, where one of the main characters Carl, a male fashion model is challenged to switch his model face from a fast fashion H&M shoot smile to an high-fashion Balenciaga campaign arrogance, and back. Never seen a more accurate parody of a particular fashion habit and so well executed. Well done Carl!
