Introducing the “Sarco pods”, a 3D-printed suicide pod (and short for sarcophagus) that allows a person to control their chosen death by quickly reducing oxygen levels, operated by the user from inside and developed to allow people to choose the place where they want to die a painless assisted death. Dr. Philip Nitschke, developer of the pods and founder of the pro-euthanasia group Exit International, told the Swiss news platform Swissinfo the machines can be “towed anywhere for the death.”
